What’s been happening:

After graduation, I briefly worked for the most horrible civil engineering firms ever. (No names, but its 6 letters and starts with an R and ends with a W). From day one I was thrown in the middle of a power struggle between two offices and several people, which ultimately ended by 8 of the people leaving to form their own company (with the clients) and thus destroying my department. I was laid off a month or two later, permanently for lack of work. After a few months of searching I found my present company which is 1000 times better - more peaceful to work at, work is interesting and challenging. It is a highway design firm and despite my school focus being Land Development, I was smart enough to load up on multidisciplinary courses just in case. I never figured highway would be this interesting.
